I am the luckiest woman in the world...seriously, it seems unfair for me to have the cutest kids and hottest husband in the world. ; )

This was fun...at least for me! i think my kids were having fun too. though i think they may prefer me chasing after them playing hide and seek than let's take more pictures!

the other thing I realize I am spending my time doing...building a web site. who knew it would take so much time to pick my favorite pictures! I will be announcing the web site soon, so stay tuned.

what have I been doing?

I noticed that I have not been out shooting much lately, and wondered "what have I been doing?" thought you might have wondered too. My focus has been almost entirely on the effort to get direct entry midwives licensed in NC. Just a couple of days ago, I went to Raleigh to speak before the NC House Select Committee on Licensing Midwives. It was humbling to be invited to speak on behalf of home birth families, and so exciting to be a part of change. This was a fun shoot...one of my favorite families! I am learning to be careful about deleting any images in camera. On my small lcd screen, I thought this might be heading for the recycle bin, but when I looked on my computer, I love it.
